Training. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and completed his urology residency at Gazi University. He then taught at the urology department of Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine. In 2012 he completed a six-month fellowship in robotic and laparoscopic urologic cancer surgery at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI-AVL, Amsterdam). He became an associate professor in 2014.
